Sent-Son

God sent His Son… (Galatians 4:4)

The representative

The emissary

The flesh and blood family representative on the spot!

In the mix!

Doing the work of the Father who sent him, on behalf of the Trinity.

The Father couldn’t go (that wasn’t his job or role or purpose)

But the Son could; in fact, He had to, in order to fulfill his role and purpose

The Son went for more than a day, or a week

He didn’t just sort of pop in, drop in, move on

He was on the earth for more than 3 decades

That’s a lot of representing!

That’s a lot of testifying!

Can you imagine, that’s a lot of heartache (especially with the group of people he was called to represent to and testify to)

That’s a lot of planning, praying, executing of purpose, resourcing

But He accepted it. For the joy set before him.

The Son was alive before he was sent

Was alive during the sending

Was alive after the sending

And is alive for evermore

Still representing us to the Father

Still testifying through his people

Still fulfilling the Father’s plan

All this happened because Jesus was willing

To be Sent

And because the Father was willing

To Send,

not just any volunteer,

but His one and only, unique, Son!

“Father, thank you for sending your Son, and thank you that your Son was willing to be sent—despite knowing completely and fully all that was ahead of Him.”

Hi, Lisa!! So good to hear from you. Actually, you yourself will need to do the subscribing (that’s how the program works; it ‘fetches’ your info that you visit with)…and you should be able to do it from the blog posting…down in the bottom right (when your mouse moves and activates things!) a small menu will pop up, and you will see a Subscribe button. I hope that works for you. ….I don’t usually share much personal info in these blogs. if you could send me your mailing address, I will see that you are added to our newsletter list. Thanks! Honored that you will pray for us, as you have over many years.
