Our ETERNAL Father, who is in the ETERNAL place, heaven:
Your name is ETERNAL, and it is holy ETERNALLY. (There is nothing on this earth that reduces its holiness or its durability.)
Your Kingdom that we are asking for? We know it is ETERNALLY-established.
Your will that we want done on earth? It is ETERNALLY-established in the ETERNAL heavens.
Even so, we have needs that are TEMPORARY:
We need food (but as important as it is, we know it’s a TEMPORARY, bodily need.)
We need forgiveness (but as important as it is, it’s for this TEMPORARY journey on earth, and for the relationships that are built on this side of the New Heaven and the New Earth.)
We need protection from the Enemy of our souls (but even so, we recognize that protection is a TEMPORARY need, because our foe will be ETERNALLY vanquished. The temptation that the Enemy brings to our attention is TEMPORARY, and the earthly rescue we need from him is TEMPORARY. Our place with you is ETERNAL in the heavens, and there we will be with you, for ETERNITY, untouched by TEMPORARY needs.)
