Consider the frame of heaven/earth for an expansion on the thoughts of the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, you are heavenly, and thus separate from us:
Your very name is part of a different realm, unlike anything on earth.
Your ruling is based in heaven and not of this world, and we know you have your reasons, timing, and plan for showing restraint from demonstrating at this time your complete rule over our current earthly existence, though that is our desire.
Your desires are completely based on heavenly standards, and we want those to be carried out here on earth, through us and for your glory!
Since we live on Earth, and not in heaven, we have several basic needs that we are requesting your provision for:
Daily food to eat (we recognize that’s an earthly thing, not heavenly).
Relationship health with others (we are painfully aware that earthly interactions can block that health).
Protection from following through with wrong desires (earth is full of wrong stuff; that’s where the realm is in which the devil attacks us, and where our vulnerabilities lie).
